Tech Tip: Booster Pump Replacement

When installing a Jet pump or multistage pump. There is a mark on the bottom of the snout shown in the picture below. This from the factory a should not be moved.

When you tighten the fittings into the snout of the pump make sure to use two wrenches and hold both sides. If you don’t it will tighten or loosen the stack. This can cause damage to the pump and a failure to happen.
